This traditional villa features a spectacular open-air hot spring bath and sauna. In front of you is Mt. Makihata, one of Japan's 100 famous mountains. On the left are Mt. Hakkai and Mt. Nakanodake. On the right are Mt. Asahi, Mt. Tanigawa, and Mt. Naeba. A 180-degree view. At night, you can see a starry sky. It is about a 25-minute drive from Echigo Yuzawa Station, and about a 25-minute drive from the Echigo-Tsumari Satoyama Museum of Contemporary Art MonET. There are many snow resorts in the area, such as GALA Yuzawa, Joetsu Kokusai, and Mt. NAEBA. ■Hot springs & saunas There is an open-air bath with a spectacular view and an outdoor sauna (capacity 6 people) overlooking the mountains. The hot spring is Echigo Yukiguni Onsen, which springs up nearby. The cold bath is free-flowing groundwater. Please note that there is a 5,000 yen discount for customers who do not use the sauna.
