This is a private room located on a hill with a spectacular view, about 12 minutes by car from Satoyama Jucho. Taking advantage of the splendid beams and pillars that withstood heavy snowfall, we renovated the building so that it can be used for the next 100 years. Classic furniture that can be considered works of art, such as those by Finn Juhl and Wegner, add color to old folk houses. Furthermore, contemporary art is placed throughout. All around you are peaceful rice terraces. You can spend a special time while admiring the snow-covered scenery of majestic mountains. Another feature of "IZUMI" is the private open-air bath and sauna with a spectacular view. The open-air bath at Satoyama Jucho has been chosen as the most scenic in Japan by numerous media outlets, but it may be even more spectacular than that. What you can see in front of you is Mt. Makiki, one of Japan's 100 Famous Mountains. On the left are Mt. Hakkaisan and Mt. Nakanodake. You can see Mt. Asahidake on the right, and Mt. Tanigawadake and Mt. Naeba in a 90-degree direction. A 180 degree view all around. You can also see the starry sky at night. You can see the mountain range from the small window of the indoor bath, so please enjoy the panoramic view to your heart's content. By the way, the quality of the hot springs at IZUMI is different from that of Satoyama Jucho. The source is the nearby Echigo Yukiguni Onsen, and the slightly salty hot spring water is poured into the open-air bath. In fact, ``IZUMI'' is the only hotel in this area where you can take a bath in this hot spring as an accommodation facility. The first floor has a living room, two Japanese-style rooms, a counter kitchen, a private bathroom (one indoor bath, one outdoor bath), a sauna (one outside), and a bedroom on the second floor, making this a room that can accommodate up to 7 people. 2 families and close friends. Of course, we also recommend luxurious use for two people. *Staff is not permanently stationed. Check-in and check-out will be done on-site. *If you are coming by car, we have a private parking lot available. *Smoking is completely prohibited on the premises. *Children can also use the facility, but due to the design, there are some areas that are dangerous. Please keep an eye on your children during your stay. *The maximum weight for the extra bed is 85kg. *The hot springs at "IZUMI" have a high source temperature of 60 degrees, so water is added. In addition, a circulatory system is used for heating, heat retention, and hygiene management. *You can also use Satoyama Jucho's public spaces (hot springs, shops, lounge, etc.) during your stay.
