This is a private room located in the Tokamachi Ichikawa Nishi area, about 30 minutes by car from Satoyama Jucho. We renovated an old folk house built over 100 years ago, overlooking Japan's longest river, the Shinano River, and located on a river terrace in Ise-Heiji, Tokamachi City. The renovation concept is "a bright and open house." We created an atrium that connects the first and second floors, and large windows that would make you believe that this is an old private house, creating a seamless connection between the inside and outside. There is also a BBQ deck in the vast private garden where wild birds gather, and depending on the season you can harvest ginger and chestnuts on the premises. Another feature of "SEN" is its two private saunas. The outdoor sauna, located in a separate building overlooking the forest on the river terrace, has a capacity of 6 people. By wearing swimsuits, groups of men and women and families can enjoy the event. The other in-house sauna has a capacity of 2 people. Although it is small, it is made entirely of Japanese cypress. The seat is raised to make it easier to feel the heat. Both cold baths are fed by underground water at a temperature of around 16 degrees (depending on the situation, tap water may be used). In winter, you can enjoy a single water bath by reducing the flow rate. The first floor has a living room, two Japanese-style rooms, a counter kitchen, a private bathroom (one indoor bath), a sauna (one inside and one outside), and the second floor has a bedroom and one Japanese-style room, with a maximum capacity of 7 people. Please feel free to spend time with your family and close friends. *Staff is not permanently stationed. *Please check in and check out by yourself. *If you are coming by car, we have a private parking lot available. *Smoking is completely prohibited on the premises. *Children can also use the facility, but due to the design, there are some areas that are dangerous. Please keep an eye on your children during your stay. *The maximum weight for the extra bed is 85kg. *The indoor bath at "SEN" is not a hot spring. For hot springs, please use Senju Onsen Sennen-no-Yu, which is about a 3-minute drive. *SEN is located far away from Satoyama Jucho. (About 30 minutes by car. We do not provide transportation)
