[Opening in summer 2024!] Kiroku Village, overlooking Mt. Makihata, is a 20-minute drive from Echigo Yuzawa Station. Echigo Jofu, a traditional Japanese fabric, was designated an Important Intangible Cultural Property of Japan in 1955 and registered as an Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 2009. The legend of the heavenly maiden is passed down in this area, and KIORKU is built on land adjacent to Kiroku Shrine, where the heavenly maidens "Ame-no-Keime-no-Mikoto" and "Konohana Sakuya-hime-no-Mikoto" are enshrined. It was originally the home of a priest. There are large zelkova and cedar trees, and anyone who steps inside will feel the sacred atmosphere. The master bedroom is on the first floor, the second bedroom is in the open loft on the second floor, and the small room for children can be used by up to 6 people by laying two futons. If you rent out the storehouse in the annex, you can use it up to 14 people.
